Robert "Bob," Wilson age 78, passed away on April 20th. Wilson served as President of the Badger Midget Auto Racing Association for four years 1973-1976. He was also a race official with the series, and involved with the leadership of NAMAR Midget Series. Wilson raced modified stock cars, before racing midgets for few seasons. Long-time Badger Midget Series car owner Lyle Corrigan who guided Kevin Olson to his first of five Badger championships, died at the age of 86 in Loves Park, IL, on Tuesday, June 27. Born August 7, 1930, Lyle was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. In 1970, he and his wife Marianne purchased Corrigan Manufacturing, Inc., which was started by Lyle's father in 1929.
